Associate in Applied Science
This program prepares students to meet General Motors training standards using a mixture of classroom lectures and hands-on experience. Successful graduates are proficient at diagnosing and repairing the complex systems of today's General Motors vehicles. Students are sponsored by individual GM dealerships, where they complete four paid internships, alternating between eight-week sessions of on-campus coursework and the internship at the dealership. Students train on modern equipment and vehicles with current technology in a state-of-the-art training facility. Students are encouraged to sit for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) exams to become a certified technician.
